lymphedema

Does anyone have information on this topic? I have researched as much as possible, but would like to know what others think. It results from having lymph nodes taken out. I am having TAH BSO on 03/26 with lymph node dissection due to adenocarcinoma in the uterus. I am 51, and worried about the long term affects of leg swelling and tissue deterioration.
