I haven't had my TAH, yet, but it sounds like you may be suffering from a lack of hormones. I don't know if you are on HRT or not (or if you are able/interested in being on HRT), but if you are, you may need to get some adjustments. Also, you are ONLY 8 weeks out--it takes up to a year for your body to completely heal, so you may just need some more time for everything to begin functioning normally again. In the meantime, lubricants seem to be in order! And don't place too-high expectations on your still-healing body!

(((misspolly))))
 's to you.
You are only 2 months post op. Please give your body more time to heal. Your ovaries may still be in shock from the surgery, and may not be producing hormones necessary for lubrication yet. Remember, everyone heals differently- some faster, some slower. It was about 5 months before I started to feel like myself again, and I had a very good and uneventful recovery. Take Care-

Paula Dear!
Using lubricants like K-Y or whatever brand does not make you any less of a woman! You can use it as part of 'foreplay' and be very 'sexy' about it.
My DH and I aren't cleared for lovemaking yet, but when we are, my plan is to use a lubricant for the very first time, and to make it something seductive instead of something 'icky.'
And what the other sisters' replies say, too.
My very best wishes!

doc says
My doc said that he was going to prescribe an anti-deppresant for me for after surgery. He says many women tend to get deppressed. I would ask your doctor about something to help so you are not so depressed. You ARE a complete woman. I have always believed that our womanlyness comes from our brain, and not our body. Your soul is what makes you, you. Not your body. God bless
