heart palpitations

Does anybody else have palpitations since starting HRT. I'm aobut 5 weeks post-op TAH/BSO and am wondering if it's the estrogen I'm on that is doing this. Too high--too low--not involved? Any ideas on what I should ask my doctor?

What are you on? I didn't have palpitations, but I did have chest pains on premarin...... My Dr took me off immediately when I told him, so you'd better tell yours.

Its esclim .1 (estradiol). I've put a call into the doc--still waiting to hear back.

I had heart palpitations on premarin shortly after surgery. I did some investigating and went on estradiol and feel much better. I felt like I was coming out of my skin on premarin. I had a complete hysterectomy with both ovaries removed, abdominal. This is my first reply, so I don't know all the abbreviations yet.

i have had heart palps since 1997.i finally found relief when i was put on estrogen.if my patch starts to not work then i start getting the palps again. when i put a new one on the palps go away. so in my case it is too little estrogen.
