Anyone get cramps after tah/bso?

Just wondering had a tah/bso on march 8th.Sometimes i feel like I have cramps.He took everything out.Is this part of healing?Does anyone here get it also.Path report found Chronic inflamation of ovaries,tubes and uterus.Endo,adhisions and varicous vains on uterus.
Any input would be great!Thanks.

Yes, I also had cramps. I had my TAH/BSO on February 11, and sometimes I still get a few little cramps. I was full of endometriosis. The doctor told me that getting that stuff out of there is like taking down old wallpaper. They have to scrape and work hard to get rid of it!!! I had it stuck to my rectum, bladder, uterus, some intestines. She said I would be crampy for awhile...not to be alarmed. The cramps do get better!!

Good luck to you. I am six weeks post op tomorrow, and I feel back to normal...doing great!! I go back to teaching high schoolers Monday, so I'll see how great I REALLY feel!!

Yes i've felt that too. Some days i was very crampy in my belly. I'm almost 6 weeks now and I'm starting to feel much better, though still get some discomfort especially at the end of the day, but as the days go by each day gets better.


Takes a while to heal up from all this, so take care of yourself

I had a few months, at most, of feeling like I had pain where my ovaries had been. It's an interesting healing process, to say the least. Happily I'm pain free and have been for most of the almost two years since my surgery. It will get better!

it seems this is pretty common, and goes away in time. i'm 6 mos out from TAH, and right after, the first 3 months, felt like cramps alot--now only occassionally.

i just figure it's the only nerves in my guts "remembering" what menstrual pain felt like, in response to healing.
