TAH with Full Tummy Tuck done at same time?

Hello All,
I am a 37 yr mother of 4. I have been in the "Something is wrong" health for about 2.5 years now. Mine started with an unplanned pregnancy ... which turned out to be a blighted ovum. My daughter-in-law was pregnant at the same time, I had my own business and my ministry ... so as you can see I was able to stay busy enough to deny and ignore my own symptoms for quite some time. Here I am now ... 22 pounds heavier...bloated...feeling 5 months pregnant( Can't ignore anymore! Dr. wants to do a TAH as soon as I will let him. I am ready for the most part...but that "we will see what everyhting looks like when we get in there" thing is a bit scarry. I don't want to have a lap or anything painful like that though as I am resigned to having the TAH. Just scarred I will get the "we found (the C word) while we were in there" ... I guess this is normal ...

I have however found a way to keep my mind busy (which is my typical defense)

I have a friend who is a Plastic Surgeon...am going to see him today about having a full tummy tuck done at the same time. Anyone out there had these two done together? I am trying to focus on everything BUT the problem.

Well I could have used to tummy tuck, lol. I have seen posts where the ladies have joked to the Dr. about doing one while they were cutting, but I have yet to see a post besides yours, of anyone actually getting it done.
We have all been where you are now. The unknown is scary. And the waiting is always the hardest part, since your mind goes in so many different directions.
Hang in there, and post anytime you feel the need. No matter what your question, there will always be someone here who can give you the answer.
