it's really funny to me....

So I marry a man who's had a vysectomy, then I have a hysterectomy, and now I'm going back on BIRTH CONTROL PILLS!!

Several posts recently about CRAMPS -- here's my story:
I had a TAH/BSO ten weeks ago - got to keep one ovary. At five weeks I had big bad pain - couldn't believe it. Dr. sent me for a ultrasound to make sure the ovary wasn't twisted, etc. Ultrasound fine. Let's see if it happens again in 4 weeks.

Sure enough -- whappo! bam! pow!
Good thing I saved a few codeines!
Turns out no one told my ovary to release the hormones but lose the attitude!

And it's really hard to explain to people that I'm having cramps when I have no uterus.

But I feel hopeful now -- like the light at the end of the tunnel is real -- finally!

That would be interesting to have to explain to an insurance company - why do you need BCP with all the other "birth control" measures?! Hopefully they won't even question it. My medical insurance and prescription coverage is under two different companies so one has no clue what the other is doing. Come to think of it, both are often clueless!!

It was just my luck that our insurance started paying for BCP after I didn't need them anymore. Now they pay for my HRT so I guess all is fair.
