Bladder Repair?

Bladder repair comes into play when you suffer from a prolapsed bladder. If you've had children its common to loose control of your bladder when you cough, jump, sneeze, chase the children, etc. I also experienced problems with emptying my bladder completely which can lead to UTI's. The reason I had a TVH was due to prolapse of my uterus, bladder and rectum. I opted for the TVH instead of tacking back up my uterus. We are not having children and who wouldn't love the opportunity to not have a monthly visit from mother nature. I also chose to have everything repaired from what was damaged at child birth. As my dr puts it, I'm like a virgin again who wouldn't want that.

Bladder Repair?

It really makes me wonder if it's really needed. I wonder if the urologist give a kickback to the docs.....oh well, who knows.

In my case....I was supose to have it repaired but changed my mind....I'm thinking maybe its just because the fibroids are so large that they are pressing against my bladder causeing the problems.

We'll see I guess.
