Update on trigger point injections

Hi Everyone! Just thought I would share my latest experience with you. I went in last Monday for my second series of trigger point injections. I have had continued pain from my TAH and the Doc thought we should try these before going in for another look around. I am happy to say that I am having very good luck from the injections. The first time I had twelve shots, this last time it was ten. The only thing is they do wear off. The first set lasted about 12 days, I am hoping this last series will last longer. My Doc said that it somtimes takes 3 to 4 rounds and that maybe they will take care of my problems. If not...well another surgery, but I am taking the positive route & have high hopes that the injections will be what I needed. If anyone else is wondering about trigger point injections, I will extoll the virtues of their relief. Painful? A bit, but I am willing to bet that you have experienced much worse pain. Would like to hear from anyone else who has had them & would like to know if they worked in the long run for you. Hugs to all my sisters! :O)
