chocolate anyone??

funny you should ask, I LOVE chocolate. I eat ALOT of it when I am close to my period. That question ran through my mind now that I am 2 days post op. I had some earlier today and it was not what I thought I "needed". It was peanut butter! Hopefully the chocolate "gotta haves" will disapear, not so sure though, I kept my ovaries.

chocolate anyone??

I'm also a fellow chocoholic. Must have it everday. Can't seem to get enough of the stuff. Well, I am 5 weeks PO and things haven't changed. Still craving it every 5 minutes-and eating it. I did keep my ovaries...HMMMMM.

chocolate anyone??

I used to love chocolate to the point of having my friend in Italy send me chocolates with espresso inside (loved coffee too). Now they just don't taste good anymore. I even got Godiva chocolates for the DRs gift baskets and didn't even want any for myself. I don't have my ovaries anymore.

chocolate anyone??

Well for me I craved it around my periods only. But now, it's non stop! When the last of it is out of the house,

I can't, I won't, hope I don't, buy anymore!

chocolate anyone??

Oh, say it isn't so! I have always loved chocolate (and yes, I have noticed that I do actually crave it about once a month...) I even have two different types of coffee in the house - the regular kind for DH, and my special chocolate coffee (it helps satisfy the chocolate longing without as many calories as a chocolate bar or a brownie.) Please don't tell me that I may not even have a taste for it after this... : (

chocolate anyone??

am only 1 week post op, had vh, and bladder prolapse repair. i too have turned my back on my little choccy friend, not fancying it at all. Had lost appetite in hospital, it is returning slightly. lost quite a bit of weight (wasnt planning to, it just happened) got some appetite in that i will eat whatever DH gives me to eat, but i'm not raiding cupboards looking for snacks etc. and i feel positively bleughh! at even the thought of chocolate, weird eh?
still got a swelly belly though, so i may end up looking like a lollipop.
