in bad shape

hi im shoopy im new at this so please bear with me i had a ah on march 15 adenoyoma and fibriods wt 6 to 7 lbs doctor asks what i was going to name it ha ha. left hospital on17th came back to hospital on 20th with 103 temp went to em room after placing me on garny something leaked very hot and very very smelly from under staples all24 of them all over my leg, floor everywhere after reopening staples they stuffed me like a turkey with packing and said i had a very bad infection so i went to or twice to be cleaned out because they said it looks like meat left on the table in the summer time. im home now with a wound vac for 2weeks and after that i go back in to be closed up with staples again. iv had a bad month whats left 1 overie 1 tube and a cervice left because when i had my twins 22 years age the scar tissue fused my badder to my cervice thats probobly spelled wrong sorry. so ladies hows your life anybody else like this out there

Wish I could give you a hug in person. YOu have really been thru this...Glad you went in right away with that high temp...Hope you will be ok. Keep me posted on your progress. I am so blessed as much as I groan over being down and hurting...this is nothing compared to you and others.
I am glad your ok now...remember to take care and you will get thru this complications and all. Infections sometimes happen...was warned this could happen.

Hi Shoopy and welcome!

I'm so sorry that you developed a post-operative infection. I think it's most likely best that you developed a high temperature so that you were prompted to go to the emergency room quickly.

It's very important to follow all of your Dr's. instructions regarding taking care of your incision and most importantly, you! You need lots of and exercise in the form of frequent, short s , and lots of fluids to keep you hydrated.

I hope that your infection clears up easily for you.
