Eating light ??

Hi,

That's hard when you haven't been given instructions. Personally, I'd stick to soft foods and clear juices and liquids. Like maybe cream of wheat, cheese, jello, maybe some chicken and lots of water and broth. And I'd keep the portions small except for the liquids. Applesauce and boiled eggs would fit into my own personal idea of what eatihg light would mean. I think the main thing is that you don't want your bowels to be too full - for your comfort and the doctor's ease. But what do I know? I did a bowel prep!

Yup pretty much what Joselle said talked to my sister the surgery nurse and she said the same thing you don't want to have to be passing a steak after surgery...... So I had my big dinner last nite today its the jello, pudding, soup, milkshake, eggs, etc.

Eating light ??

Hi, I'm sure that eating light can mean different things to many people. I understand the meat and potatoes - my DH doesn't consider it a meal without those

When I eat light I usually eat soup, a small sandwich, jellos or something like that - mostly soft foods in small amounts. Remember to drink lots of fluids.

Best wishes.

I've decided to be Mrs. Fibermost. I've already had a double serving of oatmeal this morning.
