I just thought of something funny.. thought i would share it..

Hey all.. I just thought of the funniest thing that happened at the hospital.. I have a 6 year old son and my DH brought him to see me.. WEll when he got there we thought it would be best to show them what they did to mommy so they didnt try to push on my stomach or anything.. So he looked at it and helped me walk up and down the hall, holding my hand like a little gentleman.. Well when it got time for him to go home I put my arms out for him to hug me and he walked up and shook my hand.. I guess he was scared he would hurt me.. He just now has got to where he will hug me!! I thought that was so cute.. Made me smile for the first time.. My 4 year old daughter on the other hand wanted to touch my staples.. lol

oh, that is so nice. i tried to explain to my 2 DDs, but cos i had TVH done, i couldnt show them anything. if it wasnt for the fact that they visited me in hospital with DH, they probably wouldn't believe i was even ill. 7 year old DD, now takes this as a green light to eat all the biscuits, or as many as possible, as it takes poor mammy twice as long to realise that she's up to no good, and then get into kitchen!!! anybody else's kids taken advantage?????
