side pain 8 months post op

I'm nervous. If this pain does not stop this weekend I think I will need to see the doctor. I have started to have pains in my lower sides as if something is pulling on my insides. Not really bad but bad enough to give me worries. I had a TVH and the doc left my overies. I have HPV and I'm also worried that my dysplasia is comming back. Except for a little weekness I did very well after my surgery and it was great that the doc did not have to cut me open. Now I'm afraid my insides are going to cause me trouble for ever. I would not have had the operation except I had already gone through two cryos and one leep and the dysplasia kept comming back and going higher up into the cervical area and was consistantly CIN III.

Do women that are in menapause get side pains?

I had my LAVH/BSO almost 2 years ago....and have not had the side pains you are describing. I strongly urge you to call your doctor and have it checked out. I think any pain, especially if it is chronic, should be evaluated. Could be that it's adhesions from your surgery.....but you won't know for sure until you have your doctor evaluate.
