Muscle Spasms

I am 3 days post and am having a hard time getting to sleep. Everytime I begin to fall asleep, I have muscle spasms that wake me up. I am concerned about this and am wondering if it is a normal reaction or if something else is going on.

Have you been taking tylenol or motrin? If not maybe taking them would help. I notice that the past few days I have had problems with restless legs (I get in bed and feel like I have to stretch, but even after I do I still feel like that). I ended up taking tylenol PM and it has worked for me.

Where are the muscle spasms taking place?
