Ouch! All the time Ouch!!!! Odor anyone?
I was going thru the site and found that lots of ladies out there are feeling pain. I am scheduled for TAS/BSO June 7th and can't wait!
I have been going to the gym using the Eliptical (treadmill like thing), and lifting a few weights, nothing major. However, about an hour or two afterwards I ALWAYS have cramps. Especially on the right side where there apparently is a huge fibroid. Yesterday I worked out and have had cramps ever since. I couldn't sleep much last night and don't know what to take! I have pains in my vagina and down my leg.
I know this is really gross and have typed this a couple of times because I am soooo embarrassed - but here goes--- last night and this morning I have the strongest, foulest odor. Is this normal? I am so embarrassed I am afraid to call my Doc. What to do! I also noticed that when I woke up in a sweat, my body odor smelled foul as well. I haven't eaten anything weird.
Thanks for the help ladies!
PS: Where do you get those cute little pictures???

suzeeq - the first time I posted about a bm I was so humilated but then before I knew it people were responding with their own experience!
I don't have any idea why you might be experiencing this. I wonder if the odor with sweat is a hormonal thing. Beats me. But I do occasionally have odor down below. I've had a D&C, an ablation and a conization done recently and I notice that I have an orange tinted discharge at the same time as the odor.
Hopefully some other sister can give us a clue.

No need to feel embarrased or weird or anything else around here. We can discuss anything, because we are all women who are kind, caring and compassionate.
First of all....is the odor coming from "down there" that term just makes me laugh, sorry. If so, is there any discharge or anything like that? I used to get lots of yeast infections, and there was a weird odor.
Another thing that causes odor is if you are diabetic. When sugar levels get too high or too low, there is a distinct "ketone" odor, kinda like nail polish remover.
Don't panic. Call and make an appointment with your doc to discuss it.
For the little pictures, when you are writing your post, look to the left where it says smilies. click on [get more]....you will get a screen full of smilies, just maximize it and double click on the appropriate picture, or just type whatever it says next to the picture.

odor
No, I am not diabetic and it doesn't smell like fingernail polish stuff. More like (UG, I'm embarrassed) but more like that black icky type of mud you find out in the country once in a while. Really BAD!
What about the pain after exercise? Is that from jumbling everything up?

I get pain after excercise too. The doc says it's because the adhesions are pulling.
Hmmm...don't know about the odor. Better call the dr.

The odor, I am not sure what is the cause of that. Best thing to do is talk with your dr. As for the pain when you work out, I think that might be becasue you are using you abdomen muscles and that is putting pressure on your uterus and such. I have noticed that my pain intensifies while I am at work. I am on my feet any where from 3 to 8 hours a night, and the more I walk around and lift things, the worse I feel. I take Motrin for mild pain, and either Vicoden or Perkaset for severe pain. So that might be something else you want to talk to your dr about, maybe he/she can put you on something to help with the pain until you have your surgery.
