ovaries gone- good thing

I had my 6 week check-up yesterday, and went in with pages of questions.... Surprisingly my doctor took the time and listened.........I was grateful!!!! She gave me some very interesting news.....In the castle all I remember is her telling me the pathology was negative....I was groggy but said great...I have not given it much thought since.....However the decision to take out ovaries was mine and I was thinking I made a mistake, with all my menapause symptons...Hot, no sleep, anxiety, headaches and certainly not interested in sex....Anyways she said to me, you know the left ovary that was plaged with cysts. It was not cancerous when we took it out, but had all the properties of becoming cancer in the future....Soooo needless the say I'm happy the things are out of me....I'm on a low dose of estrace and am glad for the chance to get better completely............Thanks to all the sisters for your hugs, advice and best wishes.....Heres to a new year of health.....CIndybean.
