Swollen lymph nodes, anyone?
I am scheduled for chemo # 3 tomorrow. Friday I woke up to swollen lymph nodes(I suppose) behind my right ear and very very tender. This is Sunday and it 's feeling much better and with less swelling. Has this happened to anyone else? What does it mean? I'm really trying to do all the right things as far as eating right, taking vitamins, and drinking tons of water. I guess I'm getting a little down because every time I am scheduled for chemo, it has to be put off either because of low white or red cells or low platelets . Does anyone think this will postpone my chemo tomorrow? HELP!

Cricket,
I can't say for sure about swollen glands but I did have some tenderness under my left armpit for allittle while. I was nothing.
As for delayed Chemo, I feel for you becuse all but my first two Chemos were delayed because of low red or white counts. The main thing is that you complete all of your Chemos. I know it's very frustrating! Take Care!

Hi Cricket,
Even people with cancer get colds and swollen glands. Hopefully this is nothing with nothing and will not hold up the chemo.
Keep us posted.

Cricket,
I hope and pray that your chemo treatment isn't delayed...it's hard enough to be going through all this without also having extra concerns and delays.
All the best.
Blessings.

Swollen lymph nodes, anyone?
Well ladies, just to update, I didn't have chemo today, but not because of swollen lymph nodes. My platelets are still too low
(48,000). They have to be 100,000 before I can get chemo. Guess that'll give me a chance to do some spring cleaning.
Thanks for all your input. My spirits are much improved. A big to everyone.
