second opinion or not ?

I had a laperoscopy done last year to find out why my side hurts,but all the doctor did after was want to put me on a vaginal ring. I went back this april and had an ultrasound done. The doctor's office called and he wants to talk to me about them. I'm scared about the hysterectomy because it is so final. I don't know what to do. The waiting is killing me. I go next monday for the results. I don't know if I should get a second opinion?

It is always a good idea to get a second or even a third opinion.

If your situation is not life threatening, then it is well worth your while to find out exactly what all your issues are, and options for treating them

You can always change your mind and go ahead with a hysterectomy but you can't un-do it once you've had surgery.
