scheduled my surgery OMG
well ladies I did it today and all the feelings that I thought I did'nt have I now do..talking to the Dr. today I was fine all my questions answered I understand everything..thinking to myself this isn't so bad I can do this and not shed one tear well until they said the date may 26 "is this ok with you?" OMG so soon I was thinking they would schedule it sometime in june or maybe even july for that matter.. thank God my dh was there to remember everything that she said to me beyond the date.I know that this needs to be done( removal of what is left of my cervix and both ovaries) but I really thought that I wasn't going to be this upset maybe I was kidding myself but I could barely hold back the tears in the office I am really scared, scared to be out of work and losing money scared to die ( i know that this may seem a little out there for some but it almost happened to me after child birth 11 years ago hence the removal of my uterus) I had to have 16 blood transfusions among everything else that happened so you can see what is going through my mind right now plus the fact that my whole family will be extremely nervous and I don't know why but I feel the need to burden myself with all of their feelings and emotions..help please.......

scheduled my surgery OMG
I will be for you. I completely understand how you feel. When I found out 2 weeks ago. I was in shock also. My date is May 12th. :OMG:I'm also worried about being off work. But I finally just decided to consentrate on me.myself and I. I'm taking the time now for myself, instead of trying to be superwoman, and buring both ends of the candle. Do you have any time that you could take off from work and still get paid? Try now and see if you could start paying extra on some bills even. This site has been very helpful for me. I would start a list of questions for ur . See if he/she will let you donate some of your own blood. And find out what is the most safest type of surgery for you, with the less amount of completation. I would have liked my dr. to do my upcoming surgery laposcopy, but He would preferred to do TAH. Due to the way my body and organs are.
Please cruise this site and ask alot of questions. We're here to help ease your mind.
Jane

I know exactly how you feel . i had been told for 18 months I needed to have a hysterectomy. It did not hit me hard until the nurse called adn gave me 5/25 as my date. I thought I was going to explode. It became final . So many things ran through my mind. I am having a hard time right now. I am 'freaking' out. Work is hard, home is hard, I seem to be making everything hard, mind not into anything. I am trying to keep myself busy, but it is not working well. Maybe it will get better

I know how difficult "that day" can be... just experienced it too. My date is June 16. I'm very nervous, even though I have not been through such serious health problems as you did after your child was born. I wish you the best of luck and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
Katy
