Yellie, I would definately call the doctor! You shouldn't be having period style bleeding. Is it heavy???? Are you in pain or have cramping???

it is not heavy just a normal flow...in a normal period the heaviness starts the second day, but I an having the back pain and some cramping..most of why I had the surgery in the first place

started my period

As my stitches were dissolving I had some small amount of bleeding, enough to go through a panty liner, but I wouldn't fill a pad like I did on my period. May sure you don't have a temperature as well, that could mean infection. But calling your dr would be the first thing to do. Especially now that you are further into your recovery.....you have to make sure that nothing happened that wasn't suppose to. You can NEVER be to careful with al this stuff. Let me know what happens, you have me worried. Call the doc!

AW Yellie I am so sorry. This has been quite an ordeal for you. Don't panic yet, hopefully it is something simple. It's awful when you hear stories about other girls going through this and it is uneventful and you are the one who has to have all the complications. I went through this with my best friend. She felt great a week after and was ready to take on the world. Me? I had a nicked bladder, an infection and I am still spotting. PLease tell me what the doc says and hang in there cuz I"m here for ya.

well the DR said it is most likely just a sluff off of scar tissues and scabs, but can have the feel of a period..he said he will treat it at my 6 week apt. by swabbing the insides with silver nitrate and that I should not worry about it...
