post op appt. today

I had my 2 week post-op appt. today.

I passed with flying colors!

She said I can expect to tire easily for the next 4 to 6 weeks so if I want to take a nap or naps go ahead.

What a doc, permission to take naps.

I love naps! I'm 2 years post-op and I still like to get a nap every once in awhile.

The initial recovery period is 6-8 weeks - often it can take many months to be completely recovered. I think I was about 4-5 months post-op when I finally felt back to "norrmal".

Keep pampering yourself.

Congrats - I agree with LynnMary though - feeling pretty good myself but not quite back to normal. Still demanding princess treatment from DH and DD I took several naps a week until 8 weeks post op.

Yes, I love that doctor. She said it right in front of DH.

He's been so supportive but I'm sure he would have said in a week or two. "you're sleeping too much during the day" or something like that.

Last night the sweet guy said he was so sorry that I've had it so rough and had been so miserable. He cuddle with me and gave me lots of hugs.
