Whats Better

HI LADIES , IS IT BETTER TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN YOU GET WITH ENDO OR DEAL WITH THE SIDE AFFECTS YOU GET WITH A TAH/BSO?

I did not have endo...just fibroids...and I can tell you I would deal with the recovery of hysterectomy 10 times over than to have to deal with the bleeding and pain I have had for the past 5 years. From my understanding my pain was probably nothing compared to the endo pain some suffer with.

I had a LAVH/BSO for severe, extensive stage 4 endo on 3/19, and I can't believe how much better I feel! I AGONIZED over the decision, but for me it was the right one. Good luck on your decision.

I only know from my own experience,that the pain and frustration that I had with every period(often twice a month) was 100 times worse then anything I dealt with after my surgery! I am 4 wks post on Fri. and have not had a minute of regret!I was glad that Aunt Flo chose the morning of my surgery to visit,cause I sent that "old bag" packing for good!

I have to agree ...i am 10 weeks post op and i would do it again in a heartbeat ...i had a period every 2 weeks and such pain and illness , nausea ect ....for many many years
glad its out of there !
