I am so forgetful lately

I am so forgetful lately. I don't know if it is the pain meds, or my preoccupation with this surgery. Here's an example: Yesterday morning, I got up, started the coffee, preheated the oven to 400, and went to shower. I got out of the shower, sprayed a pan with Pam, popped open a package of cinnamon rolls, put them in the pan, and put them in the oven. Or so I thought....I came out after applying my makeup, opened the oven door, and ...what?!...the cinnamon rolls were missing. I looked stupidly into the oven for a few moments, then all over the kitchen--I finally found them--in the sink across the room! I had never put them in the oven. This is totally unlike me! Then, after work, I went to the grocery store for a few essentials, came home, unpacked the groceries. An hour later, I went to the bathroom, opened the cabinet under the sink looking for the new tampons I had just unpacked, and found a big bag of Tostitos! I looked all over for those tampons, and my husband finally found them that night--next to my pillow on the bed! Right next to my heating pad. What the heck is going on here? I will be 37 years old tomorrow--is it old age or what? LOL!
Maybe it runs in the family-I remember my mom doing stupid things too when she was "pre-hysterical"--she changed a diaper, and put the wet one in the oven! Must be hereditary!

I am so forgetful lately

Hey, I've got one, too!

The other day, I got out the ice-cream, carried it to the living room, and proceeded to eat right from the box. When I'd had my fill, I carried it to the kitchen and put it back into the freezer...or so I thought. When I went back to snack on it again a few hours later, it wasn't in the freezer. I knew I hadn't finished the box and thrown the empty box away. Something drew my eyes to the top of the refrigerator, and there was my ice-cream box, full of ice-cream soup...

I think I'm just too pre-occupied with this whole surgery thing...

I am so forgetful lately

I am always running around saying who moved this it was right here. And it was me. I lost my slippers in the house over a week and a half ago. I blame everyone in the house, who wore them last? I needed them so bad last week after work I thought I was going to cry. They are pink hello kitty slippers. Come on where oh where can they be. The kids said that my hubby was looking for them to wear too. Weirdo. But maybe it was him. Still can't find them. I always think it's because I am to preoccupied in everything else to pay attention. At least we are cracking up together! LOL

I am so forgetful lately

I know just what you all mean. At work I went to my boss three times last week to talk to her about something and when I got there I couldn't remember what I wanted to say to her. She thinks I'm losing it. (but she knowns what I'm going through so she knows I'm not crazy at least) even though I feel that way some time. Went to the store the other day and my DD reminded me to get some foil while we were on that aisle I said alright and still left without it. My DD and DS think I am going crazy though.
