backache-post tvh

I need advice.
I had a tvh on 11/6/03-I have stopped counting the weeks post-op that I am. I had a great recovery and began exercising. I was a good princess and got my dr.s orders to return to exercise. I probably over-did running, I was up to 4 miles, 4 times a week. I did something to develop lower back pain. Not sure what it was exactly. Could be new shoes that I wore without breaking them in, could be old mattress set, could be something crazy I did. I tried chiro and went 4 x per week for 2 weeks. I did find relief for about two weeks. I stopped going and lifted heavy boxes at work and weeded flower beds for a church service project and hurt like the dickens.

I did have x-rays taken at chiro and had a twisted L1-L4. I stopped going on my own. I hated going so many times per week. I have been using wonderful heated wraps and ibuprofin as needed. I will call chiro in morning and re-start treatment.

MY QUESTION IS: I had a tvh in Nov. for a cancer scare. I left ovaries but everything taken was pre-cancerous. Should I call my gyno. and let her know about the back pain? Do you think that it could be connected? I have an appointment in mid-May and don't know if I should wait until then.

Hi Princess,
I am pre-op so I don't know if this will help. I recently went to the ER with severe lower left back pain. They never could figure it out and told me I strained my back. Finally, I had a transvaginal ultrasound that showed I had an enlarged hemorrhaging cyst on my ovary. After much research, I found out that this can cause lower back pain. Hope this might help you in some way.
