Nervous - Cancerhead!!

Hystersisters,

I'm a little nervous about my 3 month check up with my oncologist tomorrow. I had my CT scan last Monday, and they did several extra views. I've been really tired and I keep getting sick. I had that bout of diverticulitis last month, too, and my bowels don't seem to be working the same way that they were before. I'm sure this is just the ol' cancerhead, right?!?

Nervous - Cancerhead!!

Linda,

I'm sure there could be lots of reasons for doing extra views on the CT scan (maybe you have a cute gall bladder and the technician wanted an extra look!)

I wonder if they might have wanted to double check and confirm the diverticulitis, and see what it's up to. That's a very pesty disease, even though it's not a sinister one.

As Ellen always says, don't waste a good panic. Assume Cancerhead unless told otherwise. But hopefully "otherwise" won't happen.

You'll be kept in prayer.

Blessings.

Nervous - Cancerhead!!

Linda, I think it is just the cancer head, but I sure can relate to how you feel. Three hours ago, while waiting to get the scan, i was sure my aching legs and mild cramps was a sign of wide spread cancer. digestive problems cauxe all sorts of bothersome, but benigh sypmtoms.

Cancerhead

Oh there was this one time when they had to redo part of my CT scan and right then and there I knew they'd seen something bad.
Nope--the CT scan was all clear--I maybe moved or they wanted a second look at an area.

Right--cancerhead is normal but NEVER WASTE A GOOD PANIC. Save it for when it's needed. Chances are you moved or the tech goofed a bit or there was a fussy radiologist there.

Nervous - Cancerhead!!

Hi Linda,

This lousy CancerHead can really do a number on our nerves.

Just think of how relaxed you will be when they tell you that all is well.

Let us know how you make out.

Nervous - Cancerhead!!

Dear Linda,
I pray that your appointment goes well tomorrow. I know that when I had to have my ct scan before surgery, I felt the same way, like "Oh my goodness, he is taking too long, something must be wrong" Even at the dentist, he did an xray as part of a normal check up, but I thought the worse, "he must think something is really wrong" !! Cancerhead for sure!!!!! I hope and pray it all turns out great tomorrow, and that you hear only good news!!
