discharge/odor normal

I remember when I first got that pinkish discharge and odor. The smell reminded me of the hospital. It creeped me out, but figured it was normal. Another thing that is normal is more blood! I have had faint bleeding off and on for a few weeks. The internal stitches are desolving and pockets of blood are coming out. It scared me and I went to the doctor. I detected a bit of annoyance in his voice when he explained about the stitches. Gosh, sorry, doc, this is only my first hysterectomy, as I can recall. Next time I have one, I will know what to expect!
Love, Martha

Hi, was looking at your signature, and all that has gone before, and how dare your doctor talk to you like that, especially as you've been through the mill, and he knows as good as anyone, and anyway, you are paying him to be your doctor

Hope that you are well, and that everything goes well for you.

Take care,

Fran x

Hi
I agree that your doctor had no right to treat you like that. Even when we have been pre-warned about things like spotting it is scary when it happens. I am 6 days post op and have just had some bright red spotting which scared me. I am assuming it is just stitches, but will be calling my Dr if it continues just to reassure myself. Fortunately he seems to be very kind and doesn't make me feel bad. Good luck!
Aileen
