light bleeding concern

Hi everyone,
I am new and really enjoying reading all the post it helps to know I am not the only one feeling the way I do. I am on close to my 6wks of recovery and have been having light spotting/bleeding through the day since I got out of the hospital. At first the DD told me it was part of the healing but it kept going on went to the DD and he put something can't recall what it was it has been a week and I am still lightly spotting. Has anyone had this problem? I probably need to call the DD but I keep hoping that on the next day all will be fine.

light bleeding concern

Was it silver nitrate that the Dr. put on??? I had a pinkish discharge around 3-4 weeks and then that went away (due to stiches dissolving). After that I still had a yellowish discharge that the Dr. treated with silver nitrate. I only had to have one treatment but sometimes it takes more treatments before it heals up completely.

light bleeding concern

I too am 6 weeks post op today. I have been discharging and bleeding since I had my surgery (3/19) I actually went to the doctor on Wednesday because I started bleeding very heavy after intercourse. He said I have granulation and need to have them frozen with Co2. I guess it is similar or even the same as the silver nitrate. I am having the procedure done on monday. I would call your doctor to check. I thought what I was experiencing was normal, apparently not.

Good luck to you

Victoria
