Help on Estrace Pill & Estrace Cream

Hi everyone, I just picked up my order for Estrace Pill 1mg and Estrace Vag. Cream .01mg. After reading all the precautions and side effects I am so apprehensive about taking it. Can any of you please let me know how you have made out by taking Estrace, your well-being from taking it and for how long and also did you gain any weight. Thanks for your help.

I had no problem with Estrace pills. It stopped my hot flashes, my moods were good, slept well. I gained about 4 lbs is all and that was not a problem with me. It was worth it to me to not have the awful symptoms.


I am off hormones except for the Estrace vaginal cream and I use that once a week to keep moisture and tissues healthy. My dr suggested I get off of the Estrace because of my age, so far not too bad.

I would give the hormones a try. It takes about 4 weeks for your body to adjust and for them to work totally.

I am on the esradiol(pill which is generic estrace) .2mg and have done great w. it.
no weight gain and nice nad level!LOL

Hi...another happy "Sister" on Estrace! I have been on it since my surgery in June...almost one year (hard to believe)! I love it! I have not had any menopause symptoms at all. Not one! I'm on 2 mg. I gained about 10 pounds since surgery...but I don't know if it's from the estrogen...I think it's my eating habits! Good Luck!
