Peeing during the night

I am 3 1/2 weeks post op from a TAH. I have been very fortunate that my recovery has been virtually trouble free with the exception of peeing two to three times EVERY night. I was checked by the dr. for an infection and nothing.

Has or is anyone else experienced this? I did not have any bladder work done during my surgery.

I am glad you are having a good recovery. I understand that often the bladder is irritated after a TAH and this can take weeks to settle down. The Dr told me that the bladder rests on the uterus and has to be peeled away during the op. So the bladder is actually handled and affected. As long as there is no infection I am sure you will find it improves with time.
