Help! Swelling up like a balloon!

Hi everyone,

I have not posted lately but I have a question. I am almost 7 wks. post op from a TAH. Recovery has been slow. I did too much in the beginning but am paying for it now Anyway my doctor told me to resume my activities very slowly. LOL that is very hard to do. I still have cramping and spotting and he said if I still have pain in 3 wks. then he will do an ultrasound. I have always been about 15 lbs. overweight and I used to always bloat up when Aunt Flo arrived. I drink constantly and am used to going to the bathroom all day long. Well today I woke up and my ENTIRE stomach is absolutely huge! My side profile looks like I am 8 months pregnant. Is that normal?? I will always have the swelly belly but my stomach is very "swollen". I just want this over!

swollen belly

Please, please talk this over with your Doctor and report back. I am 2 weeks post-op, and I think any significant change in symptoms should be reported. Please let me/us know what your DR thinks, the more information we all have, the better to handle things if we're "next".

This is my first post-forgive any errors please.
