Cervical Dyplasia

I have been fighting Cervical Dyplasia for two and half years now. I have had numerous cryo surgeries. I have been on so many antibiotics I can't count. Despite all of this I am still fighting the dyplasia and chronic bacteria. My doctor has recommened a hysterectomy. I will have a TVH. My ovaries will be left. My surgery is June 1st. For some reason my body has been unresponsive and cells are continuing to organize. I have had a heavy discharge for two 1/2 years and have been wearing sanitary pads every day for that two 1/2 years.

Does any one else have Dyplasia that is unresponsive? I'm really anxious and very emotional. Even though I don't want any more children I feel like I'm losing my feminity.

non responsive cervical dysplasia

Hi! Very new to this board. I just found out I am needing a hysterctomy. Kind of scared.

I had dysplasia so bad in 1999 that they had to do what is called a LEEP procedure (cryo was NOT an option for me) and take out 1/2 my cervix. the dysplasia was so deep they were worried I was going to have to have my cervix removed.

Have faith. There are doctors out there who do not give up when we know there is something wrong with us. There are options and there are more options. Keep them talking, keep asking questions. But most of all, Have faith.

Cervical Dyplasia

I totally know where you are coming from.... I've fought this for 10+ years.. and after I scheduled my surgery they found a few cancerous cells!!!! I feel strange going to have surgery when I feel perfectly fine.... but the path tests tell a different story... it was so frustrating having the cyro and laser and LEEP and cone biopsy and nothing works!!

I can't wait until this is over!!
