couple more days to go

I hope my counting down isn't too annoying. It's hard to believe I'll be in the Castle next Tuesday and under anesthesia at this time.

One of my secretaries gave me the most lovely Freesia body lotion from Bath & Body Works today as a preop gift. She's post-hysterectomy and has been a wonderful support for me. What a dear lady!

Emotionally I'm still doing very well. I was FALLING apart this past Monday so perhaps I got it all out of my system that day. I'm prepared for more emotions in the days to come, though.

Last night, I started hunting down the years of photos that have accumulated. I'm going to at least get them organized during my princess time at home and hopefully get them into albums as well. I enjoy scrapbooking but there's no way I can do all these years - it's too huge a job to face! I need to do my DD's baby scrapbook, though, since she's FOUR now! ;-)

Hi Kate- We have the same castle date. My op is scheduled for 11 am. I'm doing pretty good emotionally right now as well. Kind of a strange peace has taken over, but have my pre op tomorrow so who knows how long this peace will last.

I too am thinking of things to do during the recovery period at home. Bought a few books to read and am borrowing lots of video/dvd to watch.

I'll be thinking of you on our castle date.

I've got to get some videos for sure. Seems like I never have time to watch movies - I know it would be something I'd enjoy a lot. I have one novel to read and am going to pick up a few magazines.

My surgery is at 9:15 so I'll probably be coming out about the time you're going in.... I'll give you a cyber wave!
