Sunday Shopping ~~ SUNDAY MAY 30TH

Hi gals --

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today at one of the VERY upscale malls in town ( ) for lunch and some wandering around. The food court there is great with lots of OP choices if I can just stick to 'em!! I really don't plan on buying anything else since I'm already packed to leave for NY and as usual I took so much stuff there isn't room to add much else!! But walking around the mall will be extra exercise...........and yes, I took Brandy for her walk this morning (although I must admit we did the shorter version and just went around the neighborhood since I knew I'd be at the mall later).

And yes I plan on watching my speed when I'm driving..........do not want to get a ticket as my friend did on the way to the beach on Fri.

I'll be on the road Tues & Wed and am not sure what's going to be happening with my NY computer so it may take me a few days to get online...........if you don't hear from me this week, that is why. I'll be back as soon as I can!!

We are having really high temps (way up there in the 90's!!) already -- unbelievably hot. Unless you're at the beach, it's just about too hot to spend any time outside during the day. Ok, I am convinced it's time to head north.

And hey -- anybody cleaned out their PM's or subscribed threads lately??

Hello!

I woke up early this morning and actually fell back asleep - something I'm rarely able to do, only to be awaken later by the sound of someone mowing. I guess they're trying to beat yet another storm that is fast approaching.

Yesterday's soccer game in Columbus was great! No rain, temperature on the cool side, and we won!

I haven't had breakfast yet but when I do it will be cantelope, soy, and an omelet with mushrooms and peppers. Lunch and dinner will depend on what the weather is doing. I have some steaks to grill for one or the other.

Ann, lucky you to have that car so packed that you can't fit much else in. I know you'll manage to squeeze something in if you find something really special. Have a safe trip!

Everyone else must be enjoying the weekend and I'm off to do the same!

Hello ladies!!!!! I hope everyone is having a nice holiday weekend. I was very good at dinner last night. I had a salad, gazpacho and Chicken Mexicale(skipped the rice). It was excellent! Today, I hope I can remain OP at our little picnic. I made OP foods except for a blueberry cake that just might tempt me, we'll see! I worked hard in the garden yesterday so today will be a walk for exercise before my company comes over. Slacked on water too but will try and do better today.

I'm sad to report that I'm still not totally OP, but am doing a little better today: guess the decision to just try my best until next Friday did the trick .... and, yep, those clothes I want sure are a great incentive

I did bike to the store and back and that was a good work-out... better than nothing

Hello! Another busy Sunday!!! We went to church and then to the in-laws for another Sunday lunch. I made a large veggie stuffed salad to keep me OP and ate some green beans and a small serving of Roast no gravy! Skipped desert---even the watermelon--which was VERY TEMPTING~it smelled so good! But, gotta watch out for that glycemic index! Breakfast was an Adkins choc. shake. Supper is unplanned right now, but will be something OP!!! Took a LONG walk this afternoon, even in the heat!
Now, nap time!!!
