Hormone Patch

My doc put me on the patch, but somtimes I can't keep them on. I'd rather be on the patch, but does any one know how to keep them put, ever time I change it which is once a week I have to move it around, that is on my belly or hip,but it only wants to stick to the same place, (thats odd)

Hormone Patch

Kbird,
Which patch are you using??? If it's the Climara, alot of women have had problems with the adhesive with that particular patch. I was on the Climara for about my first 2 months post op and had problems with the adhesive. Here's a thread from the archives with some helpful tips for getting the patch to stick http://www.hystersisters.com/forums/...?threadid=3323
If you still have problems, you may wish to discuss with your doctor switching to a different patch. The Vivelle Dot is one option. I have not personally used it, but from what I've read here it is much smaller and adhesion is better.

Hugs :-)
