TVH with Repairs and Sex

Is anyone who had a TVH with repairs had a good outcome where sex is concerned? I am 8 weeks post-op and we have tried having sex a couple of times and so far my husband, who is not all that large) has not been able to enter. I am so tight down there. SOmeone suggested stretching the opening but it hurts on the left side. I had silver nitrate treatment 2 weeks ago on that area because of stitches still being there and I am thinking about going back to the Dr. for discomfort in this same area. Anyone else?

Sorry you are having this problem. I found that dryness. drop in hormones, and not fully healed at the 6-12 week time frame to be factors in this. If you have ovaries or not, the surgery can disrupt hormones and dryness shows up "down there".

I suggest use a lot of good quality lubrication to start with. You many need a vaginal perscription cream to help if that doesn't work. I ended up having to use Estrace vaginal cream from the dr, there are other types and brands as well.

If there is still a problem after lubrication , relaxing, and taking ones time, I would have the dr take a look and see what he suggests.
