One good thing

I had surgery 6 days ago, and still feel very crappy (mostly weak), but I did notice that I have slept through the night without having to get up to go pee. For about two years, I've awakened at least twice in the night because I had to go to the bathroom. I think maybe my enlarged uterus was pressing on my bladder, and it no longer is irritating it. It's nice to sleep all night!

One good thing

Me too, for the first time in a few years I can sleep with out getting up every hour or 2 to pee. I think mine was from adhesions, and a big mess of stuff in there making pressure in places it should not have been... Good luck in your recovery..

Hi Heartlyn!

Glad to hear that you are getting a good night's sleep. A friend of mine just called yesterday to tell me to get lots of sleep cuz she was listening to a medical program that said it helps the body heal faster - it said that due to the release of some hormone that only happens while you're sleeping, your body heals faster after major surgery.

Take care!
