If I only had a brain.....

What's up with the brain . Did my doctor take my brain as well as my uterus and cervix?

Went to the grocery store by myself . Started to write the ck forgot that I needed stamps. Had to fix the ck. Then I look at the check and realized that I had to different amounts written on it. Had to fix that again. My check look like it had been thru a battle zone. DH will love that.

Then I had to go and get a part for DH tractor. Went on the wrong road, (we live in the country). Had to turn around and back track to the right road. While there wrote another check, got this one right. Thank Goodness! Leaving the part store, stalled my car in the parking lot( forgot I have a 5 spd DUH).

Got half way home, looked for my cell phone, couldn't find it. Had to pull over and search my purse and the car. Finally found my cell phone. What's up with my brain. I know surgery could do this by this is crazy. I haven't taken any pain killers for any pain since my surgery so what gives?

Maybe because I havent had to really use my brain. Lack of stimulation maybe? DH and I are going out for dinner, would love to have a glass of wine but I'm afraid that it will make my worse.

If I only had a brain.....

On Wednesday I went for a CT Scan and when they asked me for my social security number I started giving them my BF's number! I got to the middle of it and realized what I was doing....oops!!!

I know what you mean. I think part of my brain was removed as well, but it's getting better.

If I only had a brain . . . .

I can relate to this as I'm only 4 days post-op. I think it's the anesthesia. "That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!"

If I only had a brain.....

I'm with you Ramona. I feel like I've got cobbwebs in the brain. It's a little hard to focus, especially in the morning. I think it's the drugs and anesthesia.

I'm told this feeling can last for a few weeks. YUCK!

Maybe we should search the web for missing brains...they all must be in a pile somewhere...come out come out wherever you are...I need my brain....LOL

If I only had a brain.....

Generally when I misplace something, I end up finding it between the sofa cushions. If my brain is in there, I don't even want to think of how I'm going to get the cat hair and cookie crumbs off of it. Afterall, DH has been in charge of housekeeping for the past month and a half... Maybe I'll be better off without!
