what do people mean by rear work done?

The consent form I signed used a term like that. I have read here about rear work.
I try not to over read as it makes me anxous. But what are we talking about here?
What could be wrong with me there?

Or is that area accudentally damaged during surgery? I am confused ?

Hi,

I had rectocele repair ,sometimes called posterior repair. It is where the lower rectum muscle is slack and pouches(prolapse) and makes completing a bm difficult. I got mine after giving birth and bearing down and pushing so hard with long labor. My sister- in- law had c-sections and does not have any problem with bladder or rectum. The repair was well worth the discomfort I had after the surgery.

HI I posted this before, and they moved it to the resources list, then I looked and wasn't able to find it. The question comes up a lot, it would be nice to find this web site more easily. It has diagrams of what everything looks like-the uterus, the bladder, the rectum all that stuff. And the stages of prolapse and what they look like. Very informative site.
