What about those pads?

Just for fun - what imaginative things can we come up with to do with those left over pads and tampons???? I need some humor!

What about those pads?

Hi,

Check out some of these ideas from past threads, they're priceless!

What about those pads?

I loved the posts, Shashi, what a riot.

Of course, due to recent trends in advertising, we also know that tampons can keep a leaking boat from sinking, and that bulky pads can be used to leave SOS messages on the beach of a desert island!

Oh, and a trick I learned back in my college theater days...in case anyone has a shrinking boobs problem during their post-op time...you can stick a maxi pad to the inside bottom of each cup of your bra. Then when you put it on, instant push-up!

These are hints you just can't get from "Heloise"!

JUst for fun

Donate them to someone with a teenage girl. (I have one that is 15). It is inevitable that whenever a friend/s of her are over - one needs one and they are never prepared.

Use them on a hurt animal , yea really, I am we got a hurt baby horse in, the cut was to big for regular bandages so , I didn't need them anymore and they were just the right size. Work's perfect !

What about those pads?

My step-son is in Tekrit, Iraq (4 months down and 8 more to go)! I've been using bubble wrap in his care packages. Next week, I get the last period of my life! I'll just use the leftover super maxi pads instead of the bubble wrap. I can pull off the strips and stick the pads to the inside of the box! He's going to think I'm nuts! I think he and his buddies could use a good laugh over there (it hit 144 degrees last week)! Maybe they can use them to absorb the sweat??

What about those pads?

My dh almost cut his thumb off awhile back and we used a pad as a big band aid. Maybe we can donate the left overs to ambulance services

What about those pads?

Here are a couple of craft ideas that might be interesting. The first is a pair of slippers made of pads and the second is a Christmas angel made of a tampon.

All kidding aside, you could donate the unopened packages to a women's shelter or a homeless shelter. I'm sure they'd be happy to get them.

What about those pads?

I LOVE the idea of using them to pad the package to Iraq. My friend's sister is going there this fall. I just sent a package to a male coworker last week. (I'm a civilian working for the military). I don't think he'd appreciate it. Maybe I'll use them to pad the next care package I send to my daughter at college. She has always said that I am off my rocker! I can just hear her now..."You stuck them to the inside of the box! But I could've USED those!"

What about those pads?

I cut my finger open back in February and was bleeding like crazy. My sister went and grabbed one of her jumbo pads and we wrapped it around my finger and used the adhesive to stick it closed. When we got to the ER and the nurse in triage saw what we did she started cracking up. I told her that I had a hyst in October and I finally found a new use for all my left over pads. LOL She made me show another nurse before she took it off and put on a real bandage. LOL
