question about patch

i started my climara patch on the 10th. i have found that it seems to become unstuck easily in the front and have been thinking about putting the second patch on the back to see if it stays stuck. if it stays stuck better will keep it there switching from "cheek to cheek". would just like some opinions on what other lovely ladies think. i am on the .075 patch and the edges just keep lifting.

question about patch

It may help to cleanse the area with alcohol and make sure that it is dry prior to applying the patch. I had to use 2 patches per week. Good Luck.

question about patch

i have been battling climara patches for two months and it works fine when i can get it to stick. the ladies here have advised that you get 20%more absorbtion by putting it on the back rather than the front. Mine were coming off after about 4 days until this last one. This last one i placed higher up than the other ones. Someone suggested putting it where my pockets of my pants would be... ifound that if i put it up there it doesnt get bent with all the moving around up and down of daily life... so far we are at day 5 and its sticking....

question about patch

I've been using the 0.1 strength Climara patch for 7 weeks now. Only had one incident of it peeling away a little bit. I wear the patches on my backside, around the where my pants pockets are. I switch from cheek to cheek each week. That's to prevent getting a skin reaction to the adhesive.

I've read that using Nexcare knee and elbow bandages to help keep the patch on works well. I haven't tried it yet as I haven't had problems with the patches peeling, but I intend to buy a box to have on hand just in case.

BTW, I'm doing very well on Climara. The only thing I don't like is the lint ring around the edges of the patch. I get it off with eye makeup remover.

Climara patch

I too have been wearing the Climara patch for 2 years now. It does stick better on a "cheek" and taking showers instead of baths helps too. The generic patch won't stay on at all! Hope this helps you!

question about patch

I've been using the Climara patch .06 mg for 3 months and have never had a problem keeping it on. I put a new one on each week after a shower and alternate between back and front.

Climara patch

I have been wearing the Climara patch for two and half years and they always seem to lift and peel off before the week is up. The one thing that I do with mine now, is make sure the skin is very dry and clean, apply a new patch, and take a blow dryer and heat the patch up some and it does seem to stick alittle better. Don't try the generic patches, they don't stick for more than a day or two. Hope this helps!
