pulled muscle?

Hi ladies I had a TAH in May 4th and I was healing wonderfully. I had all the restrictions lifted 2 weeks ago. I also got a cold 2 weeks ago with an awfull cough. Well anyways Sunday my husband helped me up off the couch because I was pooped out and he didnt know I was ready to get up and I fell abck onto the couch wow that hurt, a day after my son was sitting on the stool by my and almost rolled off so I jumped up from a half lying down position to grab him that hurt a bit to. Now today I have a pain right under my belly button and to the side. I had this pain right after surgery and it lasted abotu 2 weeks. Could I have just pulled it again after it was healing on the inside? I keep forgetting that I am not yet healed 100% because I felt so good before. Another thing is should I go back to wearing the tummy binder untill it feels better? Thanks

p/s
I still have my cough grrr

pulled muscle?

Hi Heather

You sure could have pulled a muscle doing either of those things! It's hard to remember not to do the things we're used to doing. I think the tummy binder is a good idea. It might help you remember you're still a recovering Princess!

Of course if you continue to have pain it's always best to get checked out by your doctor. A quick check could help ease your mind that nothing serious is going on.
