My Co-Workers

Yesterday was my last day at work before my surgery and my co-workers surprised me by giving me a little going away party! I was SO surprised..lol One lady made a big pan of banana pudding that was just wonderful.

Then everybody in my department got together and bought a bunch of little items. They presented to me this big bag with about 30 different little wrapped items that I am to unwrap each work day that I am off so that I don't get bored.

Now I can't wait to have my surgery so that I can start unwrapping my goodies...lol

What a wonderful work place. I'm in tears here at how nice that was for them to do!

Let's all keep these types of kindnesses in mind when we encounter people going through medical challenges in the future!

Oh, and PS - when you feel good enough post-op to be posting again, you'll have to come back and tell us what your trinkets are, okay??
