I'm just over 5 weeks post-op and suddenly have this tingly feeling in my left arm - it gets so bad it wakes me up at night. Starts in my shoulder or elbow and I can feel it run down to my hand. It just always feel like my arm and hand fell asleep. Does anyone else have such a side effect from their HRT? I mentioned it to my dr. this morning and he seems to think it can be related to too low of a dose of estrogen. The tingly feeling is starting to hit my other extremities...makes me worried it is something much worse. I thot I was getting carpal tunnel but now i'm thinking much worse things. Anyone experience this and can relieve my worries???
I have not had surgery yet but for the past few weeks have been having the same exact thing happen. I've got the worst pins and needles during the night. The starting point shifts - it can be either from the shoulder or the elbow, and it's happening on both sides, but fortunately not at the same time. It's waking me up as well. I have no idea what's causing this but would really like it to clear up. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to get some advice.
I was having this even before surgery. Both arms get numb, can touch the two small fingers and not even feel it. After turning over or raising my arm up, the feeling comes back into the fingers. I haven't talked with my doctor about it yet, but it does wake me several times each night.
