2 1/2 Years Post Op- Low Hormone Level?

I am 33 years old. I had a partial hysto in Sept 01 because of anemia and failed treatment. I haven't had any problems with hormone issues until now. I'm not sure if that is what it is, but I'm pretty sure. I am unable to sleep at night, I am sweating at night and cannot get cool. Also early in the am and mid afternoon I just get real hot and clammy feeling. I have also had horrible stomach aches and irritable. I called gyno this am and they ordered me to have lab work done to check my thyroid. If this is not the prob she wants to see me. Do any of you have this prob and if so what did they do about it? Hormones? HELP, I think I'm going nuts!!!!!
Thanks for your help!!!

I'm no doctor but it sounds like are having hormonal symptoms. Contact your dr. as soon as possible. Once your on some type of HRT you should feel a lot better.

Good Luck!

Hi featherfaye I've moved your post over here to the Hormone Jungle forum, which is the place to ask HRT questions. If you're interested in how to cope with symptoms without HRTs then the No-Hormone Desert Oasis is the right place.

Did you keep your ovaries after your surgery? If so, they may be starting to decrease their production of hormones, which could cause your symptoms. It's good that your DR is checking your thyroid though, because that is also a possibility.

Let us know how your test results come out and what the DR says, OK?
