Pain during sex - after hyster??

hi sisters now that i'm sleeping a little better i thought i'd ask you for some further help in a area that tends to be somewhat embarassing. my total hyster was last dec 99
due to extensive endo. everything was removed including ovaries, uterus, cervix, etc.. problem is, i thought i was imaging it for awhile, but now i don't think so - sex is painful!!! i've never experienced this before - only since hyster!!! it's not painful upon entering but with each
thrust???? has anyone else experienced this and what could possibly be going on when no organs remain behind??????

I think you should be examined by a doctor. Sometimes it could be something simple like some scar tissue building up on the vaginal cuff. A doctor can tell you if there is anything structurally wrong.

Had the same problem, plus alittle bleeding. Scared the daylights out of me. The doctor said about 30% of hysterectomy "victims" end up with granulation tissue. He used 3 treaments of I believe it was silver nitrate and it cleared things up for me. It's not a fun treatment and is painful, but you know we've all been through worse! Call the doc and let him know what's going on. Best of luck and hope things get better for you.

I had the silver nitrate for the granulation and it was not that bad maybe a little uncomfortable that's all. We are all different. Just wanted you to know this is not always a nightmare. For me it took only one treatment, with very little discomfort.
