rectocele spinal anesthetic or general

Ladies,

If you would share your experience with your rectocele repair- did you have a general or spinal anesthetic? Would like to her what was best in your personal experience the general or spinal? I know everyone is different and it is a personal choice. I do think a spinal anethetic would be better for the patient with IBS.

Hi again I have IBS and had a general for my TVH with rectocele repairs. Of course, constipation was a major fear for me. I had a general. And it didn't help that I was on iron pills due to the heavy blood loss!!! Well, it turned out that I didn't have any problems with constipation, at all!!!
