Cramping in arm and leg

Hello sisters:
I need some help determining if this warrants a call to the Doctor. For the past 3 days I've had some cramping in my left upper arm and my left lower leg. It comes and goes and it is not terrible - just bothersome. I try to keep myself up and about while not overdoing it. When I sit I prop my leg up. After watching all of those shows on television I keep seeing the commercial about blood clots - especially after surgery. I am a nervous wreck and try to calm myself down but have not been successful. Anyone else had this experience?

I have what can only be described as a tooth ache in my leg! It is around the knee area of my left leg. I also have my hands fall asleep ALOT- even when I am using them ( like when I am typing on the computer!)- don't know what that is all about!

Me too! My hands are always falling asleep. My legs have also been very sore and stiff since the surgery especially when I first wake up. I am planning to see my GP this week b/c it is not getting better. Cat1 T you might feel better if you check with your doctor. I don't know how recent your surgery was..

well thank God I'm not losing my mind. I'm 9 weeks post op and I've been having twitches, cramps, and my hands fall asleep a lot.
Who knew that would happen from a hysterectomy??
