Home from the castle
Just got home from the castle. Doing pretty well. They ended up taking my cervix along with everything else, and sadly I have to admit I did no research on what to expect with the removal of the cervix.
I will check back later on what to expect etc.. and give further updates later on.

so glad you are back
Very glad you are home again.
I did some research on the cervix and there are so many conflicting opinions, that I don't know if it will help. My theory is to wait and see now. I am 2 weeks and 2 days post op, and I golfed and walked 9 holes today-per both surgeon's approval as long as it was just chipping and putting. It felt great to do something besides lay around and walk all over town.
You just have to trust the docs-they do loads of surgeries and have to make those decisions while they are in there, unless you want several surgeries while they wake you up and consult with you and then reschedule again-Yuck-not for me!

I am very happy my dr opted to only make it a one shot stop, just confused about how sex will be etc. Do they move stuff around? Is it all shortened? So many questions, just need to remember to make notes and ask at 3rd week pre-op.
