Name of supplement.....?

I was watching tv this morning and there was a supplement named that boasts of the "rejuvenation of sexual appetite" etc...it begins with the letter "A" and I cannot recall what the name of the product is...does anyone know or has anyone been brave enough to try it yet? Any thoughts on this.....? Thanks for your input!! I know that I am NOT alone when it comes to the "loss of desire" issue!

Hi!

You're right, you aren't alone when it comes to loss of sexual desire. Have you talked to your doctor about this? I had to. It wasn't easy but since it was important to me to get that desire back and my doctor writes the prescriptions, I had to do it. I felt a little awkward approaching the subject but once I got started it went fine. Now I don't have any problems talking to him about anything!

Are you using any HRT? Do you still have your ovaries? It would be helpful if you'd update your profile to include the type of surgery you had and if you have your ovaries or not. Click on Control Panel near the top of the page, then click Edit Profile and make the updates.

Here's a link to an article about Sexual response/sexual desire that you might find helpful.

I don't know the name of the product you saw on tv and I don't know that trying such a product would be helpful. I prefer to stick to prescriptions from my doctor. For me the right balance of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone was what I needed to bring back what had been missing.

I hope this helps you!

PRUS,

You may be refering to Avlimil. There were a few posts about it on this site but I can't remember where. There were pros and cons about Avlimil but most said it didn't work. In my opinion its better to go with a prescription from your dr.

lack of...continuted

Thanks for your responses....I did update my profile. I have been on Estrace 1 MG for about 2 years. I was on premarin until we had that luncheon in Columbus and I heard about the Estrace and switched that next week. Since I am job hunting and already have a 3 mo. prescription for the Estrace I will go ahead and get it re-filled for now (all at once while I still have insurance) and then go from there! Thanks again!

Be sure and check out the forums where they're discussing that stuff before you buy. Mostly I've read that they get your credit card # and continue shipping it to you even after you cancel. That kind of stress won't do anything for your libido!
