Pathology report & helpful sites

Hi ladies,
I was very happy to follow a hystersister tip in obtaining my surgical pathology report from the hospital. I would never have thought of that. They faxed it directly to my home, once they had a signed doc from me authorizing its release. I find it very interesting, and it certainly does include things my MD didn't mention. . I'm sure because it's quite routine and inconsequential to him. Little does he know I'm obsessed with my uterus! haha

I saw a tip on a recent posting for a good medical terminology website and thought I'd add a few of my own. Here's a set of good assorted links to help with the terminology:

For those who are interested in real photos and aren't grossed out or queasy about it, the site from Webpath has scores of photos:

Like I said to one of my hystersisters. .. why, it's enought to keep a girl busy all day! ha ha.

enjoy, relax, don't hang out at the computer too long.
cheers,
Jo

Thanks

Dear Jo,
Hi and thanks for the tip. I'm going to check out the sites myself and also get a copy of my report. I noticed in another post you mentioned you were hooked on CNN for a while. LOL - that made me laugh as I too have been letting it run on the TV all day - and still the Florida recount continues...Anyway, we need to find another obsession since the uterus is now gone...the uterus is now gone...the uterus is now gone...My bladder seems to take up a lot of my thoughts now - hahahahaa. I wish you all the best. Take care.
